Created in 1970, by Jean-Jacques Garella at age 23, founded the brand on the principles of artisanal talents and Mediterranean culture unique to Provence.
By combining femininity, lightness, and modernity, the brand quickly made a name for itself.
The brand has operated its first franchise since 1972 in St. Tropez. Due to the success of its collections, Jean-Jacques Garella expanded the company and its distribution to wholesale through multi-brand retailers.
Since 2017, the group has accelerated its development of its INDIES brand to 19 self-owned stores and continues its development through a network of 20 affiliates in 2019.
Based in the South of France, GARELLA's headquarters is centered on the vision of meeting and creation.
The style offices, workshop, storage warehouse, and commercial services are combined in a creative and innovative central hub.
